Today was Peyton & Nolan's first day at La Petite in Irmo. The boys weren't happy when Trey dropped them off this morning but the workers assured us that they had a good day. When Trey went to pick them up, Peyton was at a table with three other children playing away. That's always a good feeling to see them having a good time. It's hard to leave them at daycare especially when they pitch a fit when you drop them off. Nolan's day went well but he was moved from the 1 year old toddler room down to the infant room. They said he needed to be walking before he could stay in the 1 year toddler room. This really irritates me. At no point did they ask if Nolan was walking. I guess they assumed he was 1 year old and he could walk. So, now that he is in the infant room our rate has gone up. I don't want him in the infant room - he needs to be around children his age and around kids who are walking so that he can see them and imitate them. I want to put my hands around the directors neck. I just wish they had asked more questions before we started today. I would have been ok if he started in the infant room instead of getting 'demoted.' Ok, they have one strike now. One more and we're out. But all in all, a good first day.

I would have been mad too about them moving him down. They should have talked with you about it before doing it. I'm glad they had a good day, other than that. How are they doing now at the end of the week?
