Movie Reviews

One thumb up, one thumb down
This isn't my style of movie - I don't really care for dramatic movies (except on occasion) nor do I care for anything intese. This was both. Obviously by the title, you can tell Sandra Bullock's character has a premonition of her husband's death. In a story which flips through different days and events out of order - it gets a bit confusing but by the end you understand the whole process of it all. I liked this movie but didn't love it. It's good though if you want something to keep you thinking.

Two thumbs up

Because George Clooney is so hot...

Seriously, Clooney plays a corporate lawyer who comes in and cleans up the messes of his clients. This storyline also mixes up the sequence of events leaving you a bit confused until the very end. I found some of it difficult to understand - I am not really educated much on the legal system and I had a hard time figuring out who was on who's side but Trey tried to fill me in the best he could (and I don't like movies like this b/c I always get confused and someone has to explain it to me - so typically I avoid them). But the ending was great. I would watch this again just to make sure I didn't miss anything because I'm sure I did. I totally recommend this!

Two thumbs up

This is a tear jerker. Grab a box of kleenex. Hilary Swank plays the part of a widowed wife just perfectly. Her deceased husband (only in his 30's) has set up for letters to be delivered to her to help her figure out who she is without him (once he's gone). You seriously will cry through most of the movie - it is just incredibly touching. I would watch it again but I really have a hard time with such emotional movies. But this one is good - if you haven't seen it wait until you're ready for an emotional release and then hit PLAY!
