Can't you read?

As soon as I got home with the boys today, I noticed a solicitor giving his "sales pitch" to my neighbor. I immediately screamed inside my head, "CRAP!!!" I knew I was next. And sure enough, I was. But in the meantime I had made a No Soliciting sign on bright yellow paper and hung it on the door. Not only did this kid completely disregard this note, he was very persistant in getting us to come to the door. Initially he knocked. (Oh and let me back up - he also opened our storm door which is totally unnecessary b/c you can hear a knock on it, too - we don't live in a mansion here) Next, he rang the doorbell like twice. He waited some and then repeated the process. He could hear us in here and we weren't trying to be quiet - I mean we're in our own home and have politely requested NO SOLICITING. Peyton even told me, "Open the door mommy!" I told him that we didn't invite this person over and that they were going to be leaving.
The kid eventually left but if he comes back, I'm going to ask him if he can read! And then I may even tell him how rude it is to interrupt our dinner when there was clearly a note on the door for no soliciting. Oh, this makes me so mad!!!!
