Thankful Thursday

Well, after two days of complete torture and a myriad of problems, I thought I should sit down and write down what I am thankful for today.

*Even though I got a flat tire today in Hilton Head, I'm thankful it was only one tire and nothing more serious than that. I'm also thankful that I made it all the way home on a spare (dad said I could make it and I did after a slow moving 4 hour ride).

*I didn't get to eat lunch today until 5pm but I'm just thankful that I finally did get to eat.

*I'm thankful that I landed a $50,000 order today. If you're ever in Cabo San Lucas, call me so I can tell you where you should stay so you can sleep on my fabrics! :-)

*I'm thankful for a long holiday weekend. After the week I've had, I really need a break.

*I'm thankful daycare is open until 6:30 and I'm thankful that I made it there at 6:25 today to pick them up. Had my spare given out on me on the way home, I wouldn't have made it so even though I felt horrible that they were there that late (and the last kids there) - I am thankful that I did make it before they closed.

*I'm thankful for my precious Peyton. He is doing so well with his potty training. He's also the sweetest child and really takes care of Nolan. He also loves to give me kisses.

*I'm thankful for my adorable Nolan. He's a spitfire like his momma and that makes me happy. I know it won't always be good for him, but a little bit of fire sometimes helps if used at the right times. He also is in love with his blankets (we have about 4) - they all have fringe on the end and he loves to rub it on his face when he's tired and that absolutely melts my heart.

*I'm thankful for my dear husband, Trey. Thankful that he loves me and our children unconditionally. Thankful that God has given us 10 wonderful years together and so many amazing experiences.

* I'm thankful for my mom who couldn't get in touch with me on Tuesday when I was terribly terribly sick and drove 1 1/2 hours just to check on me. I am thankful that she loves me that much and I am thankful that I know I love my boys enough that I will do the same thing for them when they are older, too.

*I am thankful for State Farm's Emergency Roadside Service. I can do many handy things but changing tires is something I have actually never attempted. Thankfully today I just had to call State Farm and they gave me a local number for a guy in Hilton Head and he was there in less than 15 minutes to put my spare on. I also will be getting reimbursed for this charge. I am thankful for that.

*I am thankful to God for always providing - always forgiving - always sustaining - always guiding. It's been a hard week but I've made it though only because of Him. I know I never walk alone because He is always there and for that, I am THANKFUL.
