Dancing Queen

Well, tonight marked the inaugural night of tap class 2008. Class actually started 3 weeks ago but I was sick for the past two Mondays and I originally had planned not to dance this year which is why I missed the first week. But, I changed my mind and went to class tonight. For the last two years that I've taken tap, I've been in the beginners class. There are two adult tap classes: beginners and advanced. The first year I knew I couldn't handle the advanced class and the 2nd year I took, it was after a 2 year break from having the boys so I went back to the beginners class. Well tonight - I entered the ADVANCED class. And let me tell ya - that class kicked my behind all over the place. I'm thinking I may need an intermediate class! Nah, just kidding. I can handle the advanced class but it surely isn't going to be a cake walk like the beginner class was. I had a lot of catching up to do tonight and I feel ok after having left class - I just hope I remember it all until next week. No mercy for the new girl - the teacher just rolled on like I had always been there.

For once, I feel like I'm going at a challenging speed and that is amazing! I'm totally getting my money's worth now!!!

Dance on my queens!

That's so cool...Gateway is starting a girls soccer league but I think I'd literally die out there and that's like the one sport I didn't play and don't know much about, but I want to do something like what you're doing so bad! Now, if I tried dancing I'd be laughed out of the class!
