Trey and I have created our own charity (impressive, right?) Trey has always wanted an English Bulldog as long as I have known him but they are expensive dogs and we knew we would never be able to afford one on our own. SO - in order to help out those who have the dream of owning their own English Bulldog, we have created First Down Bulldog Charity. The charity works like this: we stud General out and choose to take first pick of the litter instead of the standard stud fee. And once the puppy is born, we take the puppy and give it to the people on our charity list. We currently have two people on our list - one close friend and a family member. It's our desire to eventually take a puppy from one of these charity puppies to add to our bulldog family and continue to keep this going.
So, if you're interested in becoming a recipient of this bulldog charity just let me know (it's really only open to friends and family and if you don't meet this criteria then certainly we could sell the pick of the litter puppy for maybe the stud fee?...details would have to be worked out). Trey suggested I put this on the blog so I am. Of course it's going to be well over a year before we can even stud General out but these are our plans in the meantime.

What a neat idea. He is precious and tempting, but I fear we are a one dog family. A very cool idea though for sure.
any chance, english bulldogs are hypo-allergenic?????
