Am I the only one out there that wishes that you could DVR your radio? Sometimes I hear something (whether it be a comment or a song) that I need/want to hear again and I catch myself trying to find the rewind button with no luck. Am I a moron? Is there a way to do this with radio these days? HD Radio perhaps? Fill me in. Do I need to invent a radio dvr or is it already on the market and no one has told me.
And while I'm complaining - WHY do toddler shoes for BOYS have to be so UGLY? Plus, there never is much of a selection. And I'm talking inexpensive shoes. Not department store shoes. Target,
Walmart,
Hamricks, Etc. Why do they make so many adorable shoes for girls and then offer like 3 pair of shoes for boys - a light up
velcro sneaker, chuck
taylors and a brown dress shoe? Seriously. Are boys not supposed to be fashionable? This irritates me. Can I tell you how many stores I've been to trying to find shoes for the boys that are not ridiculously tacky? I refuse (at this point when they do not ask) to let them wear cartoon character shoes (of course I don't allow those types of briefs either), shoes that light up or anything else gimmicky like that. I want my boys to look nice - even at daycare. So, do I need to start designing and creating inexpensive fashionable shoes for boys? Really the need is for casual shoes - not dressy shoes - ugh.
Ok, off my box. This irritated me this week.
*Picture from flickrETA: I know my kids will eventually ask to wear these shoes that I despise and I will let them but right now they don't know what's out there and they haven't asked so while I can control the situation, I will. When they ask for light up shoes, I'll be back complaining that my kids are wearing light up shoes.

Yes, PLEASE design some cool, cheap shoes for boys! I'm with you all the way, until Jack asks for character clothing, I'm not buying it - it's just ugly! I have given in on a few Mickey and Thomas items, but he asked for them each and every time! Seriously, I feel your pain . . . let me know when you have a solution to the shoe situation!
I will find out soon enough about choices available for boys...but my girls love their character clothing. I do not buy it by choice...but it is not a battle worth fighting for me. At least your boys won't want to wear Hannah Montana..oy!
i love the idea of the Christmas wish list! I might have to steal it. :) Also, the candles that you bought at the pottery barn outlet and great. Those would be perfect in the windows at the wedding. kind of winterish, right?
I agree! Boys clothing and shoes are ridiculous. There are very limited choices and the ones available are horrible. Please keep us posted if you design some or finally find some! I feel your pain too!
