Oh what a night,!

Well, last night was interesting. The boys were being horrible at bedtime. I put them down a little before 8 - like I do almost every night. They are usually quiet for a little while and then they start stirring. By 11:00, there were a lot of noises coming out of their room. I let them be. At 11:30, it was just insane so I had to go in there to do crowd control. I opened the door and just started cracking up. You see - Peyton was naked. And he had pulled his mattress halfway off his bed to make it into a slide. And he was climbing up his "slide" and then sliding down it (with no clothes on). I couldn't help but laugh hysterically. The best part was when General came in and started sliding as well. You can only imagine - a boy and his dog sliding down a mattress slide.

I had tears in my eyes! Probably not the best reaction especially if you don't really want your child to repeat that behavior. I wanted to get my camera so badly but I can't post pictures of my unclothed three year old on the internet (and he would die if I printed them and had them when he was old enough to hate me for it). That would just be wrong. So you guys have to use your imagination. Poor Nolan. He didn't act like he wanted anything to do with it. As soon as I opened the door he came rushing out and stood in the doorway with me and Trey while Peyton did his thing.

It was - by far - the funniest thing he's done in several weeks. Oh I wish I had it on film.
