This is definitely a drama. When I watched it, I wasn't really in the mood for a drama. I liked it. It was heavy and sad. But it did keep my interest since the story was based in SC (although filmed in NC). I enjoyed seeing a more grown up Dakota Fanning in this movie. She's certainly maturing into a very pretty and successful young lady.
I give it one thumb up, one thumb down.
