Thank You

Well, Nolan has decided to start speaking real words. Last Friday, I swore I heard him say "thank you." I convinced myself that I was insane - he hasn't even said anything other than mama and dada and I was sure "thank you" was too complicated for him to start with. But today, I confirmed my original thoughts. After I picked up the boys at daycare and strapped them in their seats, I handed Peyton his sippy cup and he said "thank you." Then I handed Nolan his sippy cup and he said "THANK YOU." Seriously...these are Nolan's first words!!!! How sweet to have such a polite young boy...he is copying Peyton b/c this is a phrase that Peyton says over and over and over. Way to go Nolan! What a great thing to say as your first word (well, first phrase).
