Three Football Boys and a Girl: Christmas Card

Well, tonight was the night!!! The night we were going to dress up the boys and TRY to take a picture of them together for our 2007 Christmas Card. As hard as I tried and as many pictures as I took, it was IMPOSSIBLE.

We were going to go to Irmo park but as I was walking by the back door, I thought the leaves looked awesome so I thought raking them together and putting the boys in the leaves would be just adorable! So we scratched Irmo park and decided to have the photo shoot in the back yard (which probably was the best idea after all).

Nolan didn't like the leaves. Peyton LOVED the leaves. So, as you can imagine - there was certainly NOT going to be a good picture with the leaves. We tried anyway and then I realized we would have to do a collage just like last year (since I couldn't get a picture of them at that time). Right away I got a pretty good shot of Nolan. Peyton, however, not so much. He wouldn't smile at me or stop playing with the leaves. I managed to get a somewhat decent shot but still not what I wanted.

After a while I realized it wasn't getting any better. We headed to the front porch. That didn't work, either. We tried to bribe them with M&M's. That didn't work at all. They were looking at the candy and not at me.

So, I did manage to get 3 pictures of them that I used. Here are a few that turned out ok. At least they were dressed nice and had clean faces! (which with those two monkeys is an accomplishment in itself!)
