Awesome weekend!

So, this weekend was AMAZING! It started with a huge victory over Summerville on Saturday at Williams Brice. Prior to the game, I assumed Byrnes would go in and claim the victory - no questions asked. But, as we were walking into the stadium I got nervous. I knew they had a 50/50 chance of winning but I still felt like we would win. The first drive for Byrnes was a touchdown. The first drive for Summerville was a touchdown. I just had a feeling the game would go back and forth and it would finish with who could score last. I was wrong - very wrong. The wheels fell off for Summerville. They didn't score again after the first quarter and we allowed two points for them due to a safety. It was awesome!!!!

So, we went home and Trey and the boys took a nap. I got under the house and moved a cable wire b/c we needed it behind our dresser in the bedroom after we moved our furniture. After I finished that, we got the boys ready and headed out to the zoo for the LIGHTS BEFORE CHRISTMAS. It was a lot of fun and we went through pretty quickly. The boys were getting tired and honestly - lights are lights. After a while, they all look the same. The line for santa was way too long so we're going to try to catch him at the mall during the week when the lines are almost non existant.

Yesterday we went to visit mom and dad and had a blast there, too. Mom and I went shopping for their tree - this is their first year using an artificial one. We found a gorgeous one at Target and after quite an interesting day of tree shopping - we got it home and I put it together for mom.

Tonight I am going to put our lights outside on the bushes with the flood lights to light up the house. We have our wreaths and garland out but it is so boring without any lights.

I wish every weekend was this good. We had so much fun!
