A self portrait while on the Navy Pier Ferris Wheel (that goes 15 stories high which we NEVER want to ride again....SCARY!)
Stephanie and Kelly before leaving to see Wicked
Window Washers - it was really cool to see them propel down the building
"The Bean" - we were out early on Saturday and there weren't many people around so we got some really good shots

From what I remember, this is a bullet hole in a church (which we found while getting lost) where Al Capone shot someone. Steph could give exact details but that's what I remember! It was pretty cool.

This painting is done using "pointillism" - an entire piece of artwork made of only dots. This painting is huge - like 7'x10'. It took Seurat 2 years to complete it (and he was only 25 upon completion). This was worth the entire admission into the Art Institute of Chicago. It was amazing. We saw lots of other paintings that we studied in college - Van Gogh, Mondrian, Monet, Cezanne, Picasso - it was simply amazing.
Chicago was AMAZING and I would love to visit it again someday soon HOWEVER I am thankful that I do not live there. Putting on a coat, scarf and gloves every time you go outside is very irritating (b/c anytime you go inside a building you have to take it all off so you don't suffocate....the cycle goes on and on and on......)
I have TONS of pictures but this is all I'm posting. I'm way behind and need to get some pics of the kids on here!

looks like you had fun in Chicago! I have been to the outskirts for a conference, but never been exploring...I would love to go, but I think I will go when it is warmer. :) You looked cold.
