The "Deuce" & Ivy

Well, Nolan has double ear infections AGAIN! We're on our 3rd antibiotic (and thankfully this was a generic unlike the last one). And THANKFULLY Omnicef does not have to be refrigerated - can I just tell you that I always accidently leave it out at least once or twice during the 10 days we have to give it to him? I hate having to worry about keeping it in the fridge. And Omnicef only has to be given once a day. Last time we took Nolan to the ped. for a double ear infection - Trey joked about coining it with the phrase "The Deuce." Dr. Cope thought that was pretty funny so yes, Nolan has "The Deuce" again. I hope he's feeling better soon.

And as for me, well I have poison ivy. Thankfully I was able to get my hands on some prednisone so hopefully that will get it taken care of soon. I guess that's what I get for working so much in the yard. I was pulling weeds and should have been wearing long sleeves. Trust me, next time I touch a weed - I will definately make sure that I have on long sleeves. Poison ivy is absolutely torture. But everything I've read said it typically lasts 2-3 weeks. That is 2-3 weeks TOO LONG!
