So, I've been trying some new recipes. Some good - some not so good (which lucky for General - he usually gets to eat).
So, I've been trying some new recipes. Some good - some not so good (which lucky for General - he usually gets to eat).
I found one on a website called LaaLoosh which is a Weight Watchers recipe blog. But ignore that it is Weight Watchers - this recipe is delicious!
I'm not a big crock-potter but occasionally, I'll pull it out (which by the way - Steph - I still have the one you gave me almost 8 years ago for my wedding!)
I served this over rice - yummy, yummy, yummy! (And I actually only cooked it for 4 hours on the auto setting (mine just has auto and high) - and it was perfect. Just don't overcook! Enjoy!
Weight Watchers Chicken Parisienne Crock Pot Recipe

- 1 package fresh mushrooms, sliced (about 10 oz)

Sprinkle chicken breasts lightly with salt, pepper, and paprika to taste. Place in slow cooker. In a mixing bowl, combine the wine, condensed soup, and mushrooms. In another bowl, mix together sour cream and flour. Stir sour cream mixture into the mushrooms and wine. Pour over chicken in slow cooker. Sprinkle with additional paprika, if desired.
Cover, and cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours. Makes 6 servings
