There's a reason they name the ride AFTER BURN

So, recently Trey and I spent the day at Carowinds. And let me tell you something - Carowinds at almost 30 is completely different than Carowinds when you're 20. Seriously. Can I tell you how painful these rides were? And how unbalanced I was after riding some of these things. I think back and after all of the many years of being a patron to Carowinds, I don't remember EVER having these physical ailments after participating in the oh so fun amusemark park rides that they offer. I suppose now I understand why mom and dad never rode anything other than the little kid things (and because we begged them, too). Who could blame them? Who wants to chase kids around all day without any of them getting lost and then submit yourself to self inflicted torture? Granted, I enjoyed my trip. Trey - not so much - but then again he hates roller coasters to start with. But next time I go to an amusement park, I might take things a little slower. Or I may just stay away from the crazy rides all together. I should especially avoid the Drop Zone. I squealed like a child the entire way down. Trey couldn't stop laughing and I thought I might be experiancing a heart attack since I was having chest pain. When did I become so old and out of tune with the limitations of my body? Well, lesson learned. Next time I will not pretend to be the Jeff Gordon of Carowinds. I might take things a little slower!!
