Ok so I was in Lexington the other day and I couldn't resist stopping by His House just to see what random treasure I might find. Ya'll - I bought a SOFA! A SOFA! And guess what? It won't fit ANYWHERE in my house! Yep, you read that right. I have no where to put it. But it was so perfect. Short, petite, clean lines, sofa bed, really nice matelasse fabric (very dated but oh so sophisticated in its' prime)...all of this beauty for $30.
She's still sitting at His House until I can go and get her. I think I'm going to put her in the storage unit. I took a picture on my cell phone but it isn't good. I promise to take one with my real camera this week and post it. It's going to go perfect with my side chairs (as highlighted a few posts ago) in a seating arrangement when I have a bigger house. I'd like to have the sofa professionally reupholstered but we'll see. That could cost a fortune. I may have to do it myself.

i went to two different his houses on wednesday and found nothing! i'm looking for a queen bed for the guest room i'm converting for our foster children. keep a look out for me when you go, please. i want something i can paint.
