Remember my rant about not being about to find affordable boys shoes - say at Target, Walmart, etc? Well, I never did find any that day. I ended up dropping $40 on a pair of Kenneth Cole casual shoes at Dillard's.
I was in Target last week and and was in the shoe section and my jaw nearly hit the floor. They had an exact knock off of the same shoes I bought for Peyton! And they were $25 LESS! At first I was excited - like hey - I picked a good looking shoe and they copied it!!! And then the other half of me felt stupid for paying $40 for a dumb shoe.
Oh well. If you like the shoes, head to Target. I wouldn't buy the Kenneth Cole ones - they haven't held up at all. Peyton doesn't wear them daily but they look worn to shreds (we have about 4 pair of shoes we alternate so these only were worn about 25% of the time.) I'm thinking of buying some for next fall - khaki and navy are always good colors for boy shoes!

Girl, you are so very lucky! Owen's foot is incredibly wide and the only place we have to buy shoes is Kasis Brothers in West Ashley. The CHEAPEST pair we have ever bought was $36 and every three months we buy 2 pair of shoes for Owen alone. I will keep my eyes open for ya' and let you know if I find anything cute! :)
