A weekend in NC

We went to NC this weekend to visit Mamaw and Peyton. We have a crazy May planned and Peyton was dying to go so we decided to go. They had a blast! It will be June before we get back but here are some pictures from our latest trip.

There was a pretty bad storm on Saturday night so we got flashlights out in case the power went out. The boys LOVE flashlights!

This is what a long day of playing does to Nolan.

Trey made the boys fishing rods out of bamboo that was in the backyard. They are fishing in the goldfish pond in the yard. They didn't have hooks or any way to catch the 3 goldfish in the pond but they didn't know that!

The dessert I got from the Bakehouse which is a bakery that Trey and I walked to down the street and had a nice, relaxing afternoon lunch (without kids)!

This wasn't at Mamaw's - it was the night before we left. Peyton lined up some of his cars and slept on top of his comforter in his sleeping bag. He is on the bed although very hard to see!
