My new bedding

Ok, so my mom can agree that I have changed my bedding more than anyone she knows. For some reason, I am never satisfied. But I think that has changed. I just recently ordered myself new bedding from Pottery Barn and I am in love! I ordered ticking stripe sheets in red and had them monogrammed (oh my favorite part). The sheets were not inexpensive by any means but they will mongram both of the pillowcases and the flat sheet for $6.50! Not to mention it just adds that special touch! I had originally found the pillow shams on ebay which I just adored (they are a disco'd pattern from pottery barn) - got both of them for $13 including shipping. So then I found an ivory coverlet at TJ maxx for $25 (what a steal...it's king size, too!) and then I ordered the matching ticking stripe duvet in king size to leave folded at the foot of the bed for extra warmth if we needed it. So, ignore the bright white panels in the background - I am making ivory ones this weekend and I've already bought the fabric I just need to sew them and I plan to do it this weekend. I also had to improvise on our night stands - the ones that match our furniture (which we do own) do not fit in our bedroom in this house (they did fit in the master bedroom in Charleston) so I used these basket tables and spray painted them black to match. I need to put another coat of paint on them this weekend but I think they look good with the furniture - much better than what I was using before I decided to paint these black. I honestly was scared to paint them - we've had them since we got married and I was afraid that I would regret painting them because they will never be the color they were when I bought them at Pier 1. So anyways - here are some pictures of the bedding. I've done a lot of other work around this house over the last couple of months - I'll try to get some pictures of it up soon.
